Medellin Nightlife & Bar Guide

Medellin is world renown for its nightlife and rightly so! It has something for everyone and yes some of the most beautiful woman in the world.  The main nightlife area or “Zona Rosa” is in Poblado centered around Park Lleras (pronounced Yeah-Ras). There are a multitude of bars, clubs, lounges, restaurants, salsa and rhumba options. If you are not sure where to go, just go to Park Lleras and walk down Avenues (Carreras) 37, 38 & 39 between Street (Calle) 9a and 8 . Also walk up Calle 10 for about 4 minutes to the area called Provenza which has a number of great places (see El Social and Vintrash below for the Provenza area). Its is a little slow at the beginning of the week and starts picking up Wednesday into the weekend.  Here are a few places to get you started.
