Although if you plan to do more activities in Tampa you should consider get the Tampa City Pass which has the entrance to Busch Gardens included.
This pass gives you admission to these 5 attractions:
1. Busch Gardens
2. The Florida Aquarium
3. ZooTampa at Lowry Park
The adult city City Pass is $139, which is almost the same as the single day entrance fee to Busch Gardens so basically I would advise to get the City Pass is you are going to Busch Gardens as the price is the same and you can see the other attractions as a bonus. You can purchase the city pass here: www.citypass.com
Roller Coasters & Rides
One of the main draws of Busch Gardens are the world-class roller coasters. These include the Iron Gwazi, the fastest and steepest hybrid roller coaster in the world which plunges riders from a 206 foot tall peak into a 91 degree drop and reaches speeds of 76 miles per hour. SheiKra, a floorless dive coaster with a 200-foot vertical drop, and Montu, an inverted roller coaster featuring seven inversions. Other notable rides include Cheetah Hunt, Kumba, and Falcon’s Fury, a unique drop tower that tilts riders 90 degrees before free-falling. Other popular rides are the log flume, a white water rapids ride and classics such a bumper cars, carousels and carnival games.

Busch Gardens Tampa is renowned for its impressive collection of animal exhibits and conservation efforts. The park offers various opportunities to observe and learn about different species. You can visit the Serengeti Plain, where you can encounter giraffes, zebras, and antelopes on a safari-style experience. There are also habitats dedicated to elephants, gorillas, orangutans, cheetahs, and other fascinating animals. Educational presentations and feeding sessions are available to enhance the learning experience
In the Stanleyville area there is train which will take you into the animals enclosures so you can see them up close. The full train ride takes about 45 minutes but there are three stops along the way where you can jump off if you like.
Besides the train there are a number of animal enclosures you can enter and some animal enclosures you can see from the outside. In the kangaroo enclosure, you can actually go in and feed the kangaroos (you can purchase the feed at the front gate)
Live Entertainment
Busch Gardens features live shows and performances throughout the day. From Broadway-style productions to animal-themed shows, visitors can enjoy a range of entertainment options. The park often hosts seasonal events and festivals with special shows and concerts so check the website.
Facilities
There are numerous dining options available at Busch Gardens Tampa, ranging from quick-service restaurants to sit-down eateries. The park also has several shops and boutiques where you can find souvenirs, apparel, and other merchandise. As you might expect the food and drink are expensive so better to eat before you go and bring a water bottle to fill at the water fountains if money is a concern.
Conclusion
Busch Gardens is a huge place, 355 acres with a ton to do and see so best to allocate a day to it and get there early. Its pricey but delivers a lot in relation to rides and animal attractions.
